50-shades-of-nico:

Ten minutes ago Nico was trying to think of a way to leave without it being rude or obvious. He was capable of turning a shoulder in hiding his emotions so many times before, but Jason had grown to be too much of the closest thing that could be considered a friend for him to be so impolite. Then again, this was a sort of different … special situation in not a good way.

The boy sighed as he was about to give his farewell, but then skipped over the breath as that hand touched his shoulder. At once Nico cringed, rapidly pulling himself away and still refusing to look at the other, “It’s just because … well, the hype in the sandwiches … people like them because they can’t always have them … and so bringing it back only to take it away again …,” he twisted his ring over his finger and then shook his head, “never mind. If you want a hamburger, you should go have one ….”

          Almost instantly he pulled his hand back, still half way extended, and the look of guilt spread across his face. It was hard for him not to be touchy, especially in that situation, and he scolded himself for forgetting so quickly that Nico wasn’t one for physical contact. The blonde gave a quick apology before listening to the other speak.

         His stomach, however, must not have felt the same guilt that he did because at the mention of said hamburger it let out a growl. A small blush from embarrassment spread across his cheeks and he laughed, hoping to rid the situation from the awkward guilt that was expressed moments before. “I think that I just might do that. Want to come get one with me?” Jason hoped that he did. “We can continue talking about overly hyped up promotions there.”
